This week was the infamous IBIE show in Vegas. It is the place to go to learn what is going on in the baking industry. Imagine a huge convention center filled with industrial baking equipment, ingredient suppliers and bakers. There are dozens of large ovens installed for the show, each cranking out delicious, expertly made fresh breads all day. There are lots of demos throughout the day, you can watch anything from professional cake decorating to traditional bread making to robotic sorting machines. After all the tasty samples, I was ready for some fresh veggies! 🙂
